Big Wood BBQ & Grill was founded in 2013 by the Petersen family. We are a small restaurant well-known for our BBQ. Big Wood BBQ & Grill is home of the ""Big Racks and Smokin' Butts."" Nothing beats our meat, especially our BBQ!! We serve lunch and dinner, offer daily specials, and pride ourselves on great customer service. Not in the mood for BBQ? We offer a variety of options including Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches, and Steaks. Our seasonings and dressings are all homemade here at Big Wood BBQ & Grill. We offer a family-friendly atmosphere and menu. We also have a full service bar for those needing an ice-cold (adult) beverage with their meal. Take a look at our menu. 1) Bbq
No one does BBQ like us! We offer spare ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, sliced pork, beef, turkey, and sausage. Whew! That's a lot of BBQ!! We prepare our own blends of seasoning for our dry rub and make our BBQ sauces daily. We offer sweet, hot, mild, and gold BBQ sauces.
2) Dining
Make sure to visit our restaurant the next time you need a meal! We have a broad menu for you to select your food from, while our seating is relaxed and the waiters are welcoming. Plus, our enthusiastic staff has an all-encompassing understanding of the menu—ask them how we prepare your meal!
Not in the mood for BBQ? That's okay, we've still got you covered. We serve a little bit of everything including Salads, Sandwiches, Steaks, Grilled Chops, and Burgers. Try our blooming onion, Country Cuban Sandwich or another one of our specialties. There isn’t a meal you won’t enjoy! We guarantee it.
3) Steaks
Come to us if you want a great steak! We cut our steaks to order to ensure quality and flavor. We know how to grill each cut so they are thick, juicy and ready to be enjoyed immediately.
For those of you that prefer a fattier steak, we suggest the Ribeye—one of the richest cuts of beef we serve. The New York Strip is a tender and leaner cut. You have 12oz and 16oz to choose from with each steak.
4) Beverages
Not only do we serve some dining options, but we have you covered drink-wise, too! You can have an ice-cold beer any day. We also offer spirits and wine.
We know sometimes you just need a beer, cocktail or glass of wine to complete a meal. Here at Big Wood BBQ and Grill we can help you pair your drink with one of our lunch or dinner plates so you can get the entire experience!

Took and chance last week on our way home and we cannot stop talking about it. I might just have to take the three hour drive just for their BBQ!! Service was amazing and I also bought a shirt! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Chosen first for its location and opportunity to eat inside (think COVID -19 requirements) and then returned 4 days later because everything and everyone was awesome! Felt at home, welcome and appreciated! Highly recommend to all!

Some of the best food I have ever had. The Jalapeno Bottlecaps are a thing to brag about. Will be back for sure. The staff is perhaps the best I have encountered in any restaurant in a long time.
